FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST:

• Develop and manage finance and accounting processes related to  the Project

• Develop and manage a dedicated management accounting system for the follow-up of project activities.

• Ensure project finances and accounts are operated in line with TRC Financial Management System and Financiers guidelines.

• Ensure state-of-the-art  control  and  audit  of  financial  operations  and accounting related to the project.

• Compile strong financial reports to aid oversight of the Project.

Qualification and Experience:

Financial Management and Accounting Specialist shall have a degree in Accounting/Finance, preferably Masters in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field and shall have a professional qualification such as

CPA, ACCA, CA, CIMA and be registered by reputable Professional Body asAssociate Certified Public Accountant (ACPA) or Fellow Certified Public Accountant (FCPA). He/She shall have demonstrated knowledge, expertise, experience and familiarity with the set-up of World Bank financial Management guidelines, procedures and reporting systems. He/she should have experience of using modern management software and  tools for project management. He/she shall have outstanding knowledge of Multilateral Banks Financial, Accounting Guidelines and its Regulations.  He/she is expected to have at least 10 years of experience in Financial Management and Accounting in an international, national, public, or private organization, preferably in the Transport Sector and World Bank or other donor-funded projects setting. He/she shall possess good interpersonal and communication skills in English. Experience in the transfer of knowledge and management skills to client staff would be preferable
