      Core Responsibilities:

      1. Cost Estimation: Develop comprehensive cost estimates for the project, considering factors such as materials, labor, equipment, and overheads.
      2. Budget Monitoring: Regularly review expenditures against budget allocations and advise the Project Director and Resident Engineer on financial performance.
      3. Contract Administration: Review, negotiate, and manage contracts with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
      4. Value Engineering: Identify opportunities for cost savings and value enhancements without compromising quality.
      5. Cost Reporting: Prepare detailed cost reports, including forecasts, variances, and other financial metrics, for internal reviews and stakeholder meetings.
      6. Risk Assessment: Evaluate financial risks and provide recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
      7. Coordination: Collaborate closely with the Project Director, Resident Engineer, the head office, and the supervision team to align financial strategies with project objectives.

      Qualification & Experience Requirements:

      • Academic: Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field is essential. Additional qualifications in Civil Engineering or Project Management would be advantageous.
      • Professional Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, with specific focus on water supply or related infrastructure projects. At least 5 years in a senior role is preferred

       

      Other Specifications:

      • Willingness to relocate as necessary.
      • A valid professional certification is desirable.

      • Software Skills: Proficiency in relevant financial and project management software like MS Excel, specialized Quantity Surveying software, etc.
